There are rules to skiing. Rules like wear a helmet, put sunblock on and make sure your boots are comfy. All of these rules help make a great day skiing. However, there are other rules to make it a perfect day skiing. Rules like, you have to stop for hot chocolate at 11:00, or my personal favourite, the rule about stopping for mulled wine around 15:00. The most important rule though, is to stop and look around once in a while. Look at the amazing views, breath in that clean alpine air and remember where you are.
With all the rush and adrenaline that comes with skiing we sometimes forget that we are actually going down a huge mountain!
